Treatments occur in comfortable rooms with ExoTMS™ technology. Each session lasts about 30 minutes, using electromagnetic pulses to target the prefrontal cortex for improved mood and focus.

What does Exomind therapy feel like, is Exomind painful?
During EXOMIND therapy, you will lie down comfortably while the applicator with a magnetic coil is placed on your head. As the treatment begins, you may feel a tapping or tingling sensation in the treated area. Sometimes patients describe it as a head massage feeling.
Generally the treatment is comfortable, most of the patients fall asleep or relax with their eyes closed while discussing with the operator.
Is Exomind safe?
Exomind is based on proven, FDA and CE-cleared technology that has already delivered over 1 million treatments in the US with millions of treatments delivered worldwide. The original TMS technology was first cleared by the FDA in 2008 and there are over 17,000 published studies on the safety and efficacy of TMS technology.
Exomind’s ExoTMS™ technology is FDA-cleared for the treatment of Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) in adults who have not responded adequately to antidepressant medications. Exomind holds Health Canada approval for the treatment of depression and anxiety using repetitive TMS (rTMS), recognized for its safety and efficacy.
Additionally, Exomind is CE-marked under the European Medical Device Directive, certifying its conformity to health, safety, and environmental protection standards for treating depression, anxiety, and related mood disorders.
How long do results last?
The longevity of results varies individually and depends on the severity of the initial condition.
Based on TMS studies, most patients still show improvement after 1 year, although they may not retain 100% of the initial results.
Maintenance treatments will be discussed and planned with your practitioner.
Do Exomind treatments have any downtime?
Patients are able to resume normal activities immediately afterward, sometimes a slight headache, warm sensation or pressure-like feeling on the treated area might appear, however that generally disappears after minutes. It is mostly due to increased blood circulation due to activation.
